Bill Didlake

William (Bill) Didlake was born and raised in Austin, Texas and attended Westlake High School. He earned his Bachelor of Art degree from Austin College in Sherman, Texas in 1990. At Austin College, Bill was a four-year starter on the football team while studying business and communications. Bill enrolled in the St. Mary’s University School of Law in 1991. During his final year of law school, Bill was a paid teaching assistant for the legal research and writing class taught to all first-year students.

Upon receiving his Juris Doctorate and Law license in 1994, Bill’s practice began a concentration on plaintiff’s personal injury law when he accepted a position as an associate with the law firm of Robinson & Harris in Dallas, Texas. In 1996, Bill joined Lawfinders Associates, Inc. During his time at Lawfinders, Bill wrote appellate briefs, drafted legal memoranda, and performed appellate argument in courts around the state of Texas. Bill has argued cases on the appellate level in both the Fifth District Court of Appeals in Dallas, Texas, and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans, Louisiana.

While appellate law was challenging, Bill desired to return to practice law where his skills could be used to help injured citizens and make a difference in people’s lives. So, after a successful time at Lawfinders, Bill joined Dalton Harris and established a firm dedicated to providing quality legal services delivered vigorously, yet professionally. In March 2006, Bill formed the Law Office of William Didlake – a firm committed to providing legal services to those in need.

Bill is a member of the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association, Texas Trial Lawyers Association and the Dallas Bar Association. Bill participates in the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program, where he provides legal services to clients through Legal Aid of North Texas. Bill is a former member of the Board of Trustees of the First Unitarian Church of Dallas and served on the Board of Directors of the Housing Crisis Center. He is currently a Board member of a new non-profit — Jericho Road Dallas. Bill is married and the father of two boys and enjoys coaching youth sports through the Town North YMCA.
